Day 14 - Jesus, Give me Faith and Courage

Scripture Reading: Psalm 56:3-4

3 When I am afraid, I put my trust in you.

4 In God, whose word I praise—

in God I trust and am not afraid.

What can mere mortals do to me?

Prayer Focus:

Obeying God is something that brings peace because his leadership is always good. It is the Holy Spirit that empowers us to obey him with courage and trust. Today, pray and ask God for faith and courage to obey what God has been speaking to you in this time. Whether it is a career change, re-orientating an unhealthy relationship, or greater generosity… we are not left to do this on our own!

What practical obstacles do you have that block you from depth in your walk with Jesus? Honestly reflect if this is the year you need a mentor, counselor, therapist, or spiritual coach. How are you going to take steps in this?
