oUR Local Outreach ministry

The Outreach Team at Reality Church develops projects and partners with nonprofit organizations to meet the needs of individuals and families within the community.

Projects

Our Local Outreach ministry serves in a variety of ways on projects in Hempfield and Lancaster City. You can learn more about some of these projects here as you consider getting involved!

Angel Tree

  • Providing Christmas Gifts to Families in Transition, Faith Friendship Villa residents, and Reality Church attendees.

Be the Church

  • Assisting partners and individuals with projects and tasks on a Saturday morning twice a year. This event is truly an example of being the hands and feet of Jesus!

Faith Friendship Villa

  • Organizing events to promote awareness of this personal care home located in Mountville; assisting in fundraising events to sustain its existence; and creating events that bring hope to its residents.

Families in Transition

  • Delivering support for students and families living in transitional circumstances in Columbia and Hempfield School Districts.

Family Advocacy

  • Operating Care Communities (CC) to support Reality Church’s foster families. Care Communities are formed and trained when a fostering family is identified and agrees that it would be beneficial.

Good News Club®

  • Sponsoring and conducting this Child Evangelism Fellowship after-school program at Centerville Elementary School to bring children to Christ!
