WHAT TO EXPECT
AT REALITY CHURCH
(1) WE’lL HELP YOU Find a Parking Spot
As you come up the driveway, our parking team will greet you and help you find a spot!
(2) GRAB SOME COFFEE & SNACKS
There’s no better way to start the morning than with a fresh cup of local coffee! Grab some for free in our lobby and enjoy some snacks before the service starts.
(3) DROP OFF AND CHECK IN AT REALITY KIDS
You can check in and drop off your kids, ages 6 weeks to 5th grade, at our Reality Kids wing. While you enjoy the service, your kids will have a great time learning truths from the Bible, playing games, making crafts, and making friends.
(4) WORSHIP & MESSAGE
Our Sunday morning experience is the same at both campuses. We'll begin the morning with live worship followed by live preaching; You can expect a message from the Bible that is applicable to your everyday life. No matter where you’re at in your faith journey, you will feel welcome, inspired, and encouraged.

Church for your whole family
Reality Kids at Hempfield
Reality Kids is for children from 6 weeks to 5th grade. Our dedicated team hosts a safe, special and fun program designed just for them to learn more about Jesus at every Sunday service.
Reality Student Ministries (RSM)
Reality Student Ministry, RSM, is for 6th through 12th graders. We host a weekly Monday night experience at our Hempfield Campus. Gatherings focus on small group discipleship while having fun together.

At our Welcome Lunch, we host a monthly gathering at each Reality Church location so that you can learn more about us and meet the campus pastor and some of our staff. We’ll have food and childcare available; all you have to do is register! We would love to get to know you and connect you to our church family.
ABOUT REALITY CHURCH HEMPFIELD
Reality Church began in 2012 when Pastor Joe Castronova and a small group of people felt God calling them to plant a church in Hempfield, Pennsylvania. Although Lancaster County has many churches, they realized many families in Hempfield still were without a church home.
Their vision was to create something different: a welcoming, relational church where people from all backgrounds could come as they are, experience authentic community, encounter God, and discover a better reality through Jesus.
What began as a step of faith has grown into a church family dedicated to reaching people, making disciples, and helping individuals and families grow closer to God and one another. Today, the Hempfield campus continues to live out that original calling: real people pursuing a better reality through Jesus.
Meet our LEAD pastor
JOE CASTRONOVA
Pastor Joe Castronova is our lead pastor at Reality Church. He is married to his wife, JoEllen, and they have three adult children. After years as a middle school science teacher and transitioning into ministry, Pastor Joe Castronova felt God ask him to do something big- plant a church in Hempfield.
Since opening over 12 years ago, Reality Church has been a place for real people to pursue a better reality… the reality of a life following Jesus. Every week, families pursue Jesus alongside one another, grow closer together, and grow closer to God.
Every Sunday, we have dynamic worship, life-giving messages, connection to authentic community that we invite you to be a part of.

Our services are designed with you in mind! You can expect a welcoming, friendly environment from the moment arrive at church. Services are about an hour long with live worship and a powerful message that will help you walk away feeling inspired and encouraged.

You're invited to come as you are and wear what makes you feel the most comfortable. There is no dress code. On any given Sunday, you'll see that many people choose to dress casually and others choose to dress up more.
Bottom line: we care about you, not what you wear.

Reality Kids is for children from 6 weeks to 5th grade. You can check in your child at our kids’ check-in desk starting at 8:30 for 1st service and 10:30 for 2nd service. Our mission is to help kids discover and know God in a fun and engaging way!
