Response to COVID-19

Needs, resources, and assistance for those affected by COVID-19

We want to show the world how different it is to go through trials when we have Christ.

No human knows how long this current state of events will last and what is ahead. We continue to pray and believe for the best. But we all know there are impacts now and for a long time to come. We also know that WITH GOD, we can work to make the most good come out of the bad. And what we build now will serve us if/when future times of need or crises arise.

Our church family can use this as an opportunity to serve and support one another in new ways in addition to the spiritual and emotional support upon which we continue to build. Some are going to be impacted in terms of physical and financial needs sooner or more deeply than others.

Now the multitude of those who believed were of one heart and one soul; neither did anyone say that any of the things he possessed was his own, but they had all things in common. And with great power the apostles gave witness to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus. And great grace was upon them all. Nor was there anyone among them who lacked; for all who were possessors of land or houses sold them, and brought the proceeds of the things that were sold, and laid them at the apostles’ feet; and they distributed to each as anyone had need.

Acts 4:32-35 NKJV

It is with humble and hopeful hearts that we are developing a “storehouse” from which we will connect needs with resources and assistance.

You may be able to provide financial assistance, or you may be willing to pick up medications and food for those who are especially vulnerable to going out in public. You may have extra food or diapers you could spare. Your business may be able to help in some way, as we help to support you. You all will be creative and generous in ways we can’t even think of.
