LIL BIG FAITH
Live in the small so that you can end big.
Matthew 17:19-20 (ESV): Then the disciples came...
1. Do I trust God?
2. Do I believe that He can do it through Me?
There’s a He, and a Me, when it comes to our faith.
Is your faith moving mountains or are the mountains moving you?
Is your faith working or is it hardly working?
Faith is to be active, but not hyperactive.
God uses faith to draw us closer to him, to get us to see that nothing is better.
Our faith always needs to have margin- a space for “your will be done Lord”.
Faith isn’t meant to fix everything. It was meant to fix our attention on the one who created everything.
Hebrews 12:1-2 (NIV): Therefore, since we are surrounded
2 Corinthians 5:4-5 (ESV): For while we are still...
2 Corinthians 5:14-16 (NIV): For Christ’s love compels us...
Romans 8:18 (AMP): For I consider...
Matthew 17:19-20 (AMP): Then the disciples came...
Faith as small as a mustard seed- a faith that moves mountains means...
You want to have big faith, do something mustard seed small.
Jesus is saying, “Take your eye off the mountain!
The the most important work isn’t the finished product but how it ended up there.
God wants to do similar things with us.
And He’s going to want to do it through small mustard seed moments.
Behind every big faith story, you will find a scattered trail of mustard-seed-faith moments.
A faith that moves mountains can only be accomplished through the many mustard seed decisions.
John 12:24-25 (ESV): Truly, truly, I say to you...
Truly living means things are going to have to start dying first.
The more we exchange, the richer our soil becomes.
“You’ll get there when you get it here”.
Luke 17:3-6 (ESV): Pay attention to yourselves...
You don’t need more of me. You need less of you.
God says…give me more of your garden to work with.
Mark 4:30-32(NIRV): Again Jesus said, “What can...
A mustard seed kind of faith won’t just be used for self but it will follow Jesus example of using up, and giving up oneself for the sake of others.
How would you live differently if you really believed that nothing would be impossible for you with God’s hands working your life?
Where aren’t you planting faith?
Everywhere we look, everything we see isn’t what it used to be.
